These terms govern the use of ShiftView, a workforce management platform developed by Visible Projects. By accessing or using ShiftView, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
ShiftView provides:
Administrators are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of employee data, ensuring appropriate access controls, and complying with applicable labour laws when creating rosters and schedules. You must keep login credentials secure and notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
ShiftView sends shift schedule notifications to employees via the official Meta WhatsApp Business API. By adding employee phone numbers to the platform, the organisation confirms it has the necessary consent to send work-related WhatsApp messages to those employees. Messages are limited to shift notifications and related operational communications.
All employee and roster data entered into ShiftView remains the property of the organisation. ShiftView acts as a data processor on behalf of the organisation. We do not claim ownership of any data you input into the platform.
You agree not to:
The ShiftView platform, including its design, code, logos, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Visible Projects. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform without written permission.
ShiftView is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform. Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific service period in question.
We strive to maintain high platform availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, third-party service disruptions (including WhatsApp API), or unforeseen circumstances may temporarily affect availability.
Your use of ShiftView is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
Either party may terminate the use of ShiftView at any time. Upon termination, the organisation may request export of their data. We will retain data as required by applicable law and then securely delete it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of ShiftView after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
